Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sparkforge ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and AI tools, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information. When you register we collect your email address, an optional display name, and a password. Passwords are stored only as salted bcrypt hashes — we never store or see your actual password.

Usage information. We record which tools you use and when, to power your dashboard (recent tools, usage counts), enforce fair daily limits, and understand which tools are popular.

Tool inputs. The text you enter into a tool is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate your result. We do not store your inputs or generated outputs on our servers after the response is returned.

We use your information to operate and secure the service: to authenticate you, generate AI results you request, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and improve the platform.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your inputs to train AI models.

Tool inputs are processed by OpenAI to generate results, subject to OpenAI's API data-usage policies. We share only what is needed to produce your result — never your account credentials.

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. It is HttpOnly and never accessible to scripts. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your account data is retained while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings — this permanently removes your account, usage history, sessions and favorites.

We follow industry practices: password hashing (bcrypt), hashed session tokens, HttpOnly secure cookies, rate limiting and server-side validation. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data proportionally to its sensitivity.
